DennisVisserFI
When I connect the GrandMA3 desk to Vectorworks Spotlight (Showcase), I’m unable to control fixtures that use GDTF data. However, if the fixture includes selectable fixture modes, it can be controlled via the MA3. The MVR file was imported from Vectorworks into MA3. One strange thing I've noticed: when I highlight the first fixture (which is working correctly), the other GDTF fixtures also respond—showing the same color and dimmer output, even though they haven’t been directly controlled. Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted April 22 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 22 Have you imported and assigned GDTF files to the fixtures in Vectorworks? From the description it sounds like there is no GDTF file or mode associated with the fixture in Vectorworks and the MVR export is generating a proxy fixture for the MA3 to import. This will create a basic fixture with default attributes like color and dimmer so the MA3 will see the fixture in the patch but not really control it till you assign a proper fixture mode. Can you post the file? Quote Link to comment
