jeffharris Posted April 20, 2025 Share Posted April 20, 2025 Here's a weird one. A few days ago, my VW 2025 "Check for Updates" menu item broke. Now I get this error message: "Product update check failed. Vectorworks is unable to check for product updates because a connection to the server cannot be established. Verify that you are connected to the Internet and re-try the update check." Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix? If I reinstall VW 2025 (a possible fix, I think?) will it mess up my current installation with prefs, lots of library items, etc.? Thanks Quote Link to comment

Figured it out. Downloaded the latest VW 2025 Installer and did a reinstall over the existing installation. Fixed! Quote Link to comment
