mauricek
Hi, I'd like to use the modern dialogs with images from a resource file. But I found nowhere any documentation how to build up that file. Can someone tell Me how and can I use the same file for mac and win? I am using a computer running windows Quote Link to comment
Guest
There is an example on the VS support page here, It's in the Custom Dialogs section called Align Selected Objects. A nice example by Craig Hollinshead. This uses images from a resource in a modern dialog. hth... [ 07-11-2002: Message edited by: fbrault ] Quote Link to comment
Alexandre Villares
The example is great, but there is no documentation on how the image resource files were created. On a Mac I could examine the image resource example using Resedit, but on the PC [...] I have no idea on how to proceed. Fuge
The resource file for Windows is actually the same file your looking at on the MAC. The resource for the Windows version actually needs to be created on the MAC and brought over to the Windows Machine. Just like with Workspace files the resource file for Windows is the resource folk of the Mac file. Use the following technique for the Resource file as described for Overlays (Workspace File)http://www.nemetschek.net/support/technotes/025.html HTHDave Quote Link to comment
