Iainy1961
Would anyone be able to tell me why this is happening? All my truss data tags suddenly went crazy. I can't seem to find out what changed. They were fine the last time I had them visible. Thank you,Iain Quote Link to comment

Bluetones
Somehow I don't think his Trim is @ 609'7"... but I may be wrong... Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted March 24 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 24 Have you moved the user origin? We have had some reports on incorrect trim heights when the user origin has been moved. Quote Link to comment
Iainy1961
@klinzey not that I was aware of. I noticed the error when I had to revise the rigging plot and turned on the data tag class. Quote Link to comment
Iainy1961
@Bluetones yes, you are correct. In fact it is 591.7’ too elevated. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted March 25 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 25 Hello @Iainy1961, There seems to be a bug that we will look into. In the meantime, there is a workaround that you can use. In the Data Manager, change the mapping of the Trim field of the Rigging Object Info record to one of these: 1) =TXT(ZCOORDINATE, 'Millimeters', 'Units') 2) =ZCOORDINATE Both should get the job done. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting! Nikolay Zhelyazkov Quote Link to comment
brevinbazurto
@Nikolay ZhelyazkovI am having this same issue, however, I'm a little confused by the workaround you provided (I'm still relatively to data tags), could you provide a more in depth explanation about how to do that? thank you! Quote Link to comment
Iainy1961
@brevinbazurto how it was explained to me by Nikolay was this, the data manager tool is in the Tools>Data Manager, in the left hand column choose 'Plug In Objects-Built in', scroll down that list until you get to'Truss'. Click on that. The center pane will populate. Click the down arrow that refers to 'Rigging Object Info', that click on trim. On the bottom of the panel there is a button that says 'Define Mapping', open that. Then copy and paste one of the two option Nikolay provided. I had to change my units to feet. Good luck, it worked for me. Iain 1 1 Quote Link to comment
