Kaare Baekgaard
I wish me a library of 2D and 3D arrows - some of them parametric - for making assembly instructions and the like. Quote Link to comment
0 islandmon
Good idea ... perhaps a vectorscript manipulating a stock arrow symbol would work in a pinch Quote Link to comment
0 mike m oz
Patrick McConnell has a Super Leader PIO available for sale in the Market section at VectorDepot. http://vectordepot.com/vm-006.shtml Is this what you mean for the 2D component Karre? 3D arrows is a bit more challenging - wouldn't the text have to be 3D as well? 0 mike m oz
Chris - I don't need either 3D arrows or text, and can't really imagine when or how I would use them. 3D dimensioning on the other hand would be useful. Karre obviously has a need for 3D arrows. I was just trying to point out that 3D arrows would also require 3D text, otherwise there would be no point. One of the advantages of VW is that it is many things to many people in many industries. Your needs are not my needs are not Karre's needs etc. Karre's wish for a feature is just as valid as anyone elses. He may in fact strike a chord with other users out there who also have the need for 3D arrows and maybe 3D text. His post is one way of finding out. Quote Link to comment
