Peter Telleman
Hi everyone, I have a truss system that I'm running braceworks on. I get the error "geometry accuracy set too high". It seems not possible to set the accuracy lower than 1mm in braceworks preferences. Can anyone explain what the error is, and how to solve it? thanks, Peter geometry accuracy too high.vwx Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted March 19, 2025 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 19, 2025 Hi @Peter Telleman This error normally displays when there is an error in the truss symbol geometry. The issue is in the custom FD33 T corner. I'm not sure what the actual cause of the error is but when the 'center Line is turned on in the corners properties it isn't displaying correctly, you can compare it to the default library point up FD33 T version. To fix the issues use the right click customise truss symbol data command and in the dialogue hit the edit magnets command, this resets the magnets and corrects how the center line displays. make sure to update the custom library as well otherwise this issue will come back everytime you use it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVanHassel Posted March 19, 2025 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 19, 2025 Yes, the old "re-burn" the corner trick. We are hoping to find the time to take a fine tooth comb through all the truss and re-burn all the corners for a future update. Not sure which update because it is a manual process and a lot of files to examine. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
