Nalo
Hi, I use one Layer per lighting set. For each Layer, I have a dedicated Legend. In this Legend, I sort my equiment in a logical order for me. Always the same order (hard work when having a lot of references). In VW2023, I did that by setting a main Instrument Summary, then copying/pasting it and filtering it by layers. Used equipment was displayed, unused was in blue. I could change filters, come back. Perfect! 👍 In VW2025, I use the filter feature of the Equipment Summary Key but unused equipment is now REMOVED (no more in blue). So, my order is LOST if I change the filter again. 🥵 Am I doing someting wrong? Or is it a huge regression? Nal Quote Link to comment

Nalo
Hello Scott, Here is a sample file comparing ESK (VW2025) and former Instrument Summary (VW2023). The behavior of FILTER feature is NO MORE good in the ESK. Other strange difference: The ESK is using the Inst Type info to display the name of the equipment (look at the green Fresnel 1K) while Instrument Summary is using the Model Name. 😵 Why? Keep sorted equipment after filtering .vwx Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott C. Parker Posted March 12 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 12 Hi Nalo, It's a regression. I have a list, and this one is high on it. Your file is very helpful. I don't have a workaround for this other than using the filter in each layer to show what is currently in the layer and building the ESK for each layer. Best, Scott Quote Link to comment
