Existing tree renumbering

Hello, 

I've placed hundreds of existing trees, then I realised that there are some duplicates. After removing them, there remained a gap in the numbering. Is there a prompt for renumbering them? Or how can I fix it easily? I've tried it in the worksheet, but it takes a lot of time renumbering them one by one.

Look at the Savvy Sequencer plugin by Josh Benghiat: It'll number pretty much anything, including filling record fields—might do what you need.
