I really like the option to attach virtual parts to items. For me for instance, I like to add pins and such to trusses, to be able to get a count of them in my drawing.
The use of virtual parts however is completely undermined by the fact that is's only document based, if I take a piece of truss from a template or drawing where it has the virtual parts, it loses those in the new drawing. This makes use of the virtual parts a time-consuming and frustrating think each drawing over again. So. like me, I'm guessing most people don't bother using them anymore.
To me, that is a real shame of a tool that has so much potential. Are there any plans to change this, so that your virtual parts can "stick" to a symbol, so you can use them in different drawings?
