The current system of hook or clamp placement is very very clunky and counter intuitive.
In my ideal scenario each symbol would have a check box to turn on or off that fixtures Omega bracket / Fixing point and a second to turn on and off the clamp(s) with a drop down to choose which clamp type you want to use. The spacing should be correct to the manufacturers drawing.
The location and spacing of attachment points is a known quantity and shouldn't require a user to make up their own double hook options.
The attachment method (ie Omega bracket) and location should also become part of the GDTF standard.
