You can influence the rotation of the IFC, for example, compensating for the fact you are modelling in screen orientation, rather than true north. However, there is no such luxury afforded to DWG export. We do still use DWG for getting buildings built and for coordination... 😉 Do not let the obsession with BIM get in the way of effective and efficient coordination!
