I quote from my other posting elsewhere .... "The M4 Max Studio is a sweet spot. The M3 Ultra just an expensive workaround for those who urgently need these 50% acceleration or up to 512 GB memory, in certain tasks." 3 Quote Link to comment
Don Seidel
We all know the days of “future proofing “ a Mac are long gone (changeable parts). We all know that computers will keep moving to faster models. The best path for decades at my office has been to buy the fastest chip with the most ram you can afford. We buy 1 level above the lowest internal storage. All project files reside on a local server, being the only machine with a big internal drive. The server can easily be 1-2 generations back since it’s mainly just hosting files. For the 1-machine business, 1-up from smallest internal drive and connect a fast (TB5) large external drive. It’s the one component you can upgrade and/or move to the next machine. 1 Quote Link to comment
