Jonathan Pickup Posted February 12, 2025 Share Posted February 12, 2025 One of the tricks that I use is to create a block which is the correct size for the appliance, GoTo the appliance manufacturer and grab the image of the object, then make a texture or an image prop put it together with the object and then make a symbol from it. My preference is to model things myself as generally speaking none of the items in the VW Libraries are products I'd ever actually use in real life + I would rather take a bit of time to create something that is accurate visually + dimensionally. Sometimes there is half-decent stuff on 3D Warehouse but there's also a lot of rubbish. Often by the time you've spent half an hour sifting through everything in both locations you could have modelled something superior from scratch 🙂 2 Quote Link to comment
