Rotate Tool

Suddenly the rotate tool is not working properly.  I can select and see the dotted line, and it does rotate, but the object stays in place.  I must have a setting turned on somewhere....?

Have you restarted VW and your computer?

@DuthmanOttawa There are some instances, we have painfully discovered where VW will appear to give one all the indications an item will rotate, is rotating, yet it does not. This typically includes Hybrid Symbols, although it may also be Pillars, Walls or similar singular components, typically when they are part of something larger: as inside of a Group or Symbol

 

One would expect the classic warning dialog ie: Top/Plan is required... yet it does NOT appear in these cases, you only think, as the CAD operator, something wrong was attempted and you frustratingly repeat the process with the same (ARGH!) outcome.
