Dick Jenkins
So the architect I work for wants most of the sheets in our drawing set to be in B&W because of a requirement from the reviewing agencies. (these are the same people who did not want fractions in floor to floor heights). He wanted to do this through the Publish command settings (I have attached an image). There are several problems with this. One is the fill for interior walls disappear in plan view. They are not supposed to be white, but rather the hatch (Wall_Slab Framed Wood/Timber HF). The other is the Exterior Elevation sheets still come out in color in the PDF. I know I can change the images by changing all the class colors for the line work and changing the render settings on a by viewport basis. It is just a pain because I use colors to help me differentiate between object and line types. Has anyone else run across this? Edited February 3 by Dick Jenkins clarification Quote Link to comment
bcd
A fast solution is to open the PDF in Preview and run Save As>Quartz Filter>Grey Tone 3 Quote Link to comment
Dick Jenkins
That option made the Elevations B&W but it did not restore any of the wall hatches or other areas with certain fills. Quote Link to comment
bcd
I meant, publish the set from Vectorworks in color as usual and then run the Quartz Filter on that pdf to produce the grayscale result. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dick Jenkins
Thanks! I will try that. When you have a published set can you select which sheets to do that with or do you have to have an unbound set? Quote Link to comment
