unearthed
How is one supposed to rotate a hatch to 90° (or any other precise degree) to a space? The side rotate handles seem a very coarse - and never accurate - way to do this. There seems to be no way to make the rotation setting reletive to adjacemt onjects. This is 2D only Quote Link to comment
E|FA
Try the Attribute Mapping tool: https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2024/eng/VW2024_Guide/Attributes/Mapping_fills_with_the_Attribute_Mapping_tool.htm Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
You can also apply a rotation via Local Mapping in the Attributes Palette (click below where it says 'Hatch' in your screenshot). Quote Link to comment
shorter
I have always found it counter intuitive to rotate the hatch by clicking on a side of the attribute mapping rectangle, particularly after having positioned the hatch's start point. 1 Quote Link to comment
