Dan Clarkson
Hi all, first time post - looking for some help on a job I’m doing. basically got a large amount of LED tape that I need to split into its constituent amounts for power consumption / control etc. they’ve been given to me as extrude along paths and they look lovely - but I can’t figure out a way to take the newly 1500m and work it out nicely! (normally it’s all the same elevation etc and so I would just draw on top and measure it and make 2d drawings for simplicity of those on site, but these are very complex bendable neon led strips! all help GRATEFULLY accepted! Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott C. Parker Posted January 24 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 24 Is the LED tape a symbol, a line, and 3D extrude, etc? Can you post an example file with a section of the object you're trying to split into sections? Quote Link to comment

If it is a cut or break, quite simple See below Edited January 24 by VIRTUALENVIRONS Quote Link to comment
