Snapping To Shaded Object In Shaded Viewport Not Working

Hi all,

 

I am having trouble snapping dimensions to shaded objects in a shaded viewport. I'm sure you used to be able to do this with no problems. I can snap to sectioned objects in the same viewport absolutely fine.

 

I'm sure there is something I just need to toggle but can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using VW2019 or a more recent version? In VW2023 or VW2024 they brought in a 'Snap to geometry' option in the OIP for Shaded section viewports.

I am on 2024. Where in the Object Info Palette would I find snap to geometry? I've had a quick look and no luck.
