TaylorM
Greetings! I'm looking to create a worksheet (or schedule) from all instances of a user database I created to manage our keynotes. I currently have a series of Keynotes placed on interior elevations and finish plans that link to Keynote Legends on the sheets (in annotation space). The Keynote Legend is linked to a custom user database I created with Sections such as "Appliance Keynotes", "Finishes Keynotes", and "Plumbing Keynotes" that all have different Descriptions and Note Text. I would like to create a worksheet (or schedule) on another sheet that pulls from the user database and lists all instances of the Keynote Descriptions and Note Text in the user database. I'm attaching a screenshot of the Keynotes List and Notes Manager with info showing the database link. I'm looking for the worksheet to be able to be recalculated/updated when changes are made to the database. Thanks for any help you can provide, I've combed through the other similar forum posts but couldn't find anything that was the same issue. Apologies if I missed a previous discussion! Thank you, Taylor Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't think there is a way to link a worksheet/schedule directly to the notes database. The only option I can think of would be to place instances of every note onto a scratch layer and then pull the data from the keynotes. Worksheets can really only access data that is in the active drawing. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
But I believe your notes database is stored as a .txt file. You can probably import that directly into Excel. Quote Link to comment
