Hi, I am a new VW 2025 user working my way through the tutorials for architecture.
Following the VECTORWORKS ARCHITECT ESSENTIALS SEMINAR at minute 32:20 the presenter demonstrates how to create an opening in the slab by drawing a rectangle over the slab and using the clip surface command. I follow the process but the rectangle does not clip.
Both the slab and the rectangle are on the same layer, they are coplanar and I have sent the slab back and the rectangle forward.
I have restarted VW, tried the operation on a different slab layer and with different types of slab but no luck. There are no error messages or anything to indicate the problem, it feels as though there is a setting somewhere that is preventing editing of the slab.
