Cant select anything but my measurements.

Im working on some scenic drafting and had added measurements to some of my structures through the editing on the viewport rather than going to the layer. Went to delete the measurements i added and had to force select to delete them. After force selecting and deleting those measurements i can ONLY select measurements on all of my layers even with grey/snap/modify others on. I have only been drafting with vectorworks for 2 years so im still pretty new, but this has never happened and im really not looking to jump ship lol.

Check your class visibility options.  It should be show/snap/modify.  

 

By default dimension objects automatically go into the dimension class.  If you change the class visibility options you won't be able to select them unless the dimension class is active.
