gkwilson
When publishing drawings of schematics in Black and White I noticed that the sockets were missing, but when I published the drawings in color the sockets seem to be there. Is there a class setting or feature that would allow them to be seen on a Black and White drawing? Quote Link to comment

Can you share a sample file showing the issue so that I can look into it? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted January 10 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 10 Thanks for the files @gkwilson. Now I remembered. The socket graphics have their pen attribute set to None. When exporting in BW Pen becomes black and fill white (I think). But since the socket graphics have no pen, they are left with just the white fill, which is blending in with the white background. So the fix is to edit your socket graphics and set their pen to solid. Quote Link to comment
gkwilson
Okay, thank you! Is it possible to change the default Pen from None to Black or does it have to be done individually? Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
The Custom Modification menu command may allow you to edit all the objects at once if you can find the criteria necessary to select them all. Quote Link to comment

I've tried changing it individually per socket and the overall class and nothing seems to get them to pop up on the BW drawing. I even tried to even make the fill black and change the pen thickness, and that won't show up on the published drawing either. VECTORWORKS BW TEST 8.pdf Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted January 13 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 13 @gkwilson you have to edit the socket symbols located in the Resource Manager. Edit the 2D components of these symbols and then set pen to solid for the objects inside of them. Quote Link to comment
