mikeakar
I am trying to cut multiple solids. I thought I would be able to group the objects and create a solid and use the solid subtraction command, but you cannot use this with groups. Quote Link to comment
mikeakar
I know I can use the section solids command, but this groups the output, and I don't want this to happen because I want to still manipulate the individual objects being section cut. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
What about using the split too? Maybe draw a line or a couple of loci to use as guides. You might need to use the Selected Object mode of the Line Split Mode. Quote Link to comment

GregG
The split tool works on most entities. It was a good day when I learned that. Walls keep as walls after the split cut. Quote Link to comment
