michaelk
Is it possible to make a plug-in object be in page units? I assume there must be a SetObjectVariableBoolean(ObjHd,XXX,TRUE); that does this. But I'm not finding it. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
ObjectVariableBoolean(130, Hand); sets a Symbol to be Page Based. Not sure if it would work with a PIO or not. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
That's what I tried! No luck. Maybe I could just do the math 😜 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Based on the 2025 Help, it looks like only Symbols can be page based. Concept: Vectorworks symbols talks about the different kinds of symbols and also PIOs, but there is no mention of Page Based PIOs and I don't see an option in the PIug In Editor to set a PIO as page based. So yes, you the math major are likely going to have to do the math. 😉 1 Quote Link to comment
Sam Jones
What do you want this PIO to do? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I'm trying to make a label element that will print the same size no matter what the scale of viewport. It's not really that important to the plug-in. I just thought it must be possible. Sort of the way the Grid Line bubbles are always the same size no matter what the scale of the viewport. There is no magic option to make a PIO automatically use page based units. 1 Quote Link to comment
