I find two things about the VP scales drop-down unnecessarily frustrating.
1. Having to scroll through lots of imperial scales that no one outside of the US needs. It's pure clutter.
We need a way to clean this up as desired to remove the junk scales as a given user sees fit.
Even tickboxes somewhere in the preferences to definitively enable or disable various scale systems would help. The document prefs should be able to tackle this issue.
Does anyone have a tip about editing some sort of file in a text editor to cull this stuff?
2. The need to scroll through and select "custom" to enter a new scale.
This are extra steps that only serve to wear down my tooth enamel.
We should just be able to directly enter a scale. Bam. Just like that.
