Peter Telleman
@jcogdell Hi everyone, I'm struggling with a distributed load in a truss circle. With a square I can just use the rigging load tool and go from corner to corner and it closes the load when I reach the start. But how do I do this in a circle?? thanks, Peter Quote Link to comment
Stefan B.
I've done it in smaller segments to do cicles. Works like a charm, takes a bit longer time. 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott C. Parker Posted December 10, 2024 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 10, 2024 My first thought is to add individual loads and use the duplicate array tool's circular mode to copy them around the circle. Depending on the size of the circle, I'd place several loads based on numbers devisable by 360 and add the weight of the total divided by the number of points. Quote Link to comment
Michael Schroeder
Select the hanging position/trusses, then go to the Braceworks menu and select "Insert Distributed Load at Selection" 3 Quote Link to comment
