Assymetric scale by distance?

I came from Sketchup where I could select an object, click a single axis, and enter a specific dimension to scale that axis to.  

 

I see the Scale Objects tool, and Symmetric by distance - but no equivalent for assymetric...  Is there any alternative to 'Scale by factor'?

That's what the OP is talking about.

 

There's not a "by distance" option for scaling assymetrically.

ah, i see, but if you input: 

size it should be/size you measured

 

by inputting the dimensions, Vectorworks will calculate the factor.

The "by distance" option where you can do it by directly clicking on points on the drawing is very handy though; saves a lot of steps.
