Missing Material/Texture selection boxes

EG Design

Question

I have been going through the "CABINET OBJECTS PARAMETRIC WORKFLOW" course in VW University, and my program seems to be missing these boxes, circled below, as seen in the video.

I do have the section above, and can individually assign a material and texture to these items, however I cannot change the class of these individual items.  Yes, I can set the texture to "Texture by class", but I cannot pick what that class is, it seems to be auto-assigned based on the classes/attributes above.

Why is this a problem?

Under the "finish options" section, we can select different sides of the cabinet to be "finished" (same as the door finish rather than the unfinished interior) I can then set what that finish texture is here, but these finish options are all defaulting to the cabinet box class, so it doesn't change visually by finishing a side.

I CAN change this individually for each cabinet, but this is time consuming, and defeats the purpose of having these options.

Does anyone know why I am missing these boxes, and how I can get them back?

Thank you, I appreciate you looking at this.  I think however I am having a difficult time expressing what I am trying to accomplish.

Is there a way to assign a SPECIFIC class to the cabinet parts listed at the bottom of this dialog box?  What I would like to happen is have the exterior finish automatically have the same texture as the doors/drawers, rather than have to apply this individually to each cabinet.  Without this, if I change the texture of the doors class, the exterior finish will not update, unless I change the cabinet box to the same class as the doors, which is not ideal either.

You can kind of achieve this by assigning 'Cabinet Box' + 'Doors/Drawers' to the same class then overriding the class texture for the Cabinet Box part in the 3D Attributes list (+ making 'Exterior Finish' by class). However I am finding that when I change the texture assigned to my Cabinet Box + Doors/Drawers class the sides of the cabinet (i.e. the exterior finish) are not updating immediately: I have to go into the settings + tell the Exterior Finish to be by class (despite the fact it's already set to be by class) which kind of defeats the purpose. I think this must be a bug.
