Gal
Hello everyone, I have created this shader hybrid symbol containing a top right+left cut and a wall hole components. I wonder if anyone can help me create a PIO out of it, with a control over its height and width. I wish to be able to set the vertical distance H and the horizontal distance L, or even better - connected it to a window object and retrieve these input from the window itself. Thanks so much Gal Shader.vwx Quote Link to comment
the frog
hello I need more info. Do you need the cables to be moving with L? At the bottom is there a fixed blind? Do you draw in 3d ? Quote Link to comment
Gal
Thank you, The cables should stretch With L while keeping a fixed anchor at the bottom. In 3d there is nothing. Gal Quote Link to comment
the frog
Hello Is this what you want ? iop.pdf result.pdf Edited November 20 by the frog Quote Link to comment
Gal
Thanks! That is getting very close. However, I wish the input parameters to affect the Wall Hole, Top/Plan and Cut views of the PIO and also have a length parameter. Gal Quote Link to comment
the frog
Hello The blind system is in 3d you can cut it wherever you want (ex: clip cube, or cuts and elevations). This way you get whole the wiewports you need (top, side ,etc views). Total high is the side of the hole. The top of the fixture is just bellow and the cables holder are at 0 level. The L length affects the size of the blind from 12 cm to whatever. The fixed cables are placed 10cm from the blind extremity. In the OIP the slider moves the blind orientation, you can choose between 3 fixed openings. The rest works like any insert object in a wall It is impossible to determine the blind insertion point, because it depends of the type of windows you draw and their parameters. The “shader 1 “ symbol cuts the wall as you can see. Quote Link to comment
