Font Handling Improvement

Please, for the love of God, just copy the functionality of font selection that Adobe has mastered. VW font selection is archaic, slow, and painful. Seems like something very easy to remedy. Even Microsoft's font handling functions are miles ahead of VW. Anyone else agree?

Its painfully slow - and why on earth are there all these fonts with @ in front of them to have to scroll past??? No other application has this mess.

Now that you mention it, I am wondering the same thing. Font selection is a PITA with VW...

So many font substitutions are also needed when importing files it's maddening.

Even export to dwg and import the same dwg will sometimes trigger a substitution.

 

Even if it's licensing thing why can't VW show us those missing fonts as high res rasters but if we need to edit them offer the substitution then on a text block by text block basis (with the option to apply to all naturally)

I have a plugin that some lovely person developed a few years ago, but for VW to integrate it properly would be marvelous.
