IFC Data & Door / Window Styles

I am finally experimenting with the Graphic Legend tool to create Door & Window Schedules. I want the schedule to pull Object data & IFC data properties per Style - for example Style Name, Fire Rating etc. Obviously the style data is consisent, but the IFC data seems to require editting of each door instance. Is there a way to make the IFC data by Style?

Yes.  Use the Data Manager to 'redirect' information from the style to a specific ifc property.

Thanks @shorter. I thought I had done that, but I can't see that you can set the Vectorworks properties by style. I have created Data Sheets which pull IFC and scheduled data into the OIP. The schedule data for the doors is set to by style but it doesn't grey out the settings in the data tab. If you edit anything in the data tab it only changes that instance rather than every door with that style & then it seems to remove the Copy & Apply Styles settings.
