Wish: fixed tool palate for "Shaded Option"

When users try to test different shaded options now, they must click "View - shaded options." When they click "OK." the menu disappears, and the users can see the result. When they try another mode, they have to redo the clicks again. 

Having a fixed palate on the screen will make choosing and testing different shaded options more convenient.

Especially a pined palate for the "Background Options."

The changes you make should be visible immediately as you change the settings in the dialog. That’s why there is no preview button. Is this not what you are seeing?

You can click on the teapot icon to directly open Settings of current View Mode.

 

Nothing against improving the Palette and Tabs though ...

And yes, why not allowing to also switch View Modes directly from that

Setting Palette.

Or maybe a single common Setting Palette for all View Modes.

Not applicable options grayed if needed.

But could allow to synch common Settings between View Modes ....

Thank you @Leon You we have been working toward more interactive behavior for the shaded options, you should see most will update the design layer without leaving the dialog if the layer is in shaded render mode.  But there can still be gaps like background like you are saying, we will look into fixing it.
