Brian Lawrence
Hi All, When I do a shutter cut on a leko that is rotated it shows 2 shapes of the beam. It seems to go away when the light is not selected and the view is changed, but this makes it really difficult when trying to focus the light. Anyone else experience this? Any way to fix it? Using VW 2025. Edited November 7 by Brian Lawrence Quote Link to comment
Brian Lawrence
It also looks like if you use the "Lamp Rotation Angle" the projected light does not actually rotate. If you have Draw Beam enabled, that rotates and looks correct but the light hitting an object does not match. Quote Link to comment

I understand Lamp rotation to be for PAR lamps. It sounds to me like you are looking to rotate the lens tube like you can with an ETC Source 4 Lekp or rotate the shutter assembly with a moving light. I don't know of a way to do this in Spotlight. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee TomWhiteLight Posted November 8 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 8 It shouldn't however show 2 shutters and beam. This could be a bug. Quote Link to comment
Brian Lawrence
Hi @TomWhiteLight, I suspect it is a bug in 2025 with the double beam. I tested it in 2024 and it did not do that. I love the new sliders for changing the shutters though. Yes, I was trying to rotate the lens tube. It's a little deceiving because when you have "Draw Beam" on, the beam rotates but the light doesn't. That one is not a huge deal for me though. Quote Link to comment
