hi i was designing a shoe Rack as its in the following pic but i cannot synchronize the custom 3d to interiorcad cabinet i.e. the shelves can't close with the door it stays where it is .may some body guide me with this thanks

Hi, This was fairly straight forward and I was at loose ends this morning.  I modelled it up as close as I could.  Maybe you can just use this, if not, take it apart and it should be self explanatory.  I exported the file back to 2020 to make sure it could open for you.

@VIRTUALENVIRONS I think you misunderstood the question.  @wonde wag wants to be able to specify that the shoe rack is attached to the door so that when they use InteriorCAD to open and close the door the rack moves with it.

 

Not sure that many people use InteriorCAD here. You might be better off asking InteriorCAD directly.

Custom parts or objects can't be connected to the door and move with it. If it's for visual I would create duplicate in order to have two different groups in e.g. 'shoe rack open' class and 'shoe rack closed' class.
