Undo while in Symbol resets 2D plan rotation

heavy manners

Question

While working in Symbols (mostly 2D objects with some 3D walls) in 2D plan view, the Undo command often undoes the rotation and the position of the view. This is a frequent occurrence and takes a lot of my time. I suspect this is a bug but if anyone knows a way to avoid this I would be very grateful. Thanks!

Try experimenting with this setting in Vectorworks preferences....

Thanks, I'll give it a go!

However, this happens even though I haven't made any view changes. Let's say I have a symbol whose internal origin and rotation is different from that of my general plan. I click my way into it and change some stuff, undo one or two commands, and then bam! my orientation and location change and I have to readjust to the geometry of the symbol.
