Veronika
Hello everyone, I am just exploring how to use stories within our project and I wanted to clarify one thing. Our project has multiple floors and some of them are identical when it comes to a layout or facade design. Currently I have created a symbol of one whole floor and copied it into another story, that way any change made on one floor appears in the rest too. I am wondering whether the use of symbol is the only way to achieve this coordinated editing within the building, because as I recall from past projects there were issues related to use of symbols in a similar way. Or is there a story setting which can duplicate the design into multiple floor levels but still keep it interlinked? Thank you. Veronika Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't do architecture, but a Design Layer Viewport might be a better option for a complete floor duplication rather than a symbol. I am sure others will chime in. Quote Link to comment
