LJW Design
Does anyone know if hoists are considered consumer objects? I have extensivley customized a cable library with custom cable connectors (control too) and am trying to get my 8 way motor distros (distributer objects) to "connect" to a hoist object with proper cable (soca-7). I can get my custom L-21-30A power distros to "connect" cable to my 8 way motor distros, but can't figure out to get my 8 way soca -7 distro to connect with cable to my custom (or any) hoist objects. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted October 28, 2024 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 28, 2024 Currently hoists are not automatically set up as consumer objects, this is on the power planning to do list. Until it is done at our side you need to add a consumer electrical component to the hoists symbol definition in the resource manager to set it up for use with cable and power planning. The Cable toolsuite learning path on the Vectorworks university has several video detailing electrical components and how to set up objects 1 Quote Link to comment
