Bruce Kieffer
Templates do not show in the "Templates" tab on my Home Screen, but I do have a template. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Strange ... First I would restart VW and or OS. Maybe check if your Template.sta files are really available in VW User Folder in the Defaults/Templates Folder or in your Workgroup Folder. Mine are showing (I have them saved in my Workgroup Folder) If you have saved them in the App Default Folder, they may be deleted after a VW update (?) But as you seem to have custom Templates when creating a new file .... I would think of a VW hiccup and do the restart thing first. Quote Link to comment
0 Bruce Kieffer
I checked and I have all set up correctly. I even added a Workgroup folder and placed a template in that. I restarted Vectorworks a few times, and restarted my Mac, but still nothing shows in the Home Templates tab. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
Try Refresh Libraries from the Gear menu of the Resource Manager. If that does not work, try and rename you user folder so a new one is created and put a template in there. Are you sure you have .STA files and not .VWX files? Quote Link to comment
0 Bruce Kieffer
No go on the refresh. No go with renaming the user folder. Vectorworks really did not like that. It wanted my serial #. OK. I added it, then Vectorworks said I had reached my limit. Yes I am using .sta files, in fact I made a few new templates from the file menu and none of those show on the Home screen either. I'm going to give up on this and I will just open templates using file/new use template. Quote Link to comment
