Wishlist - Design Layer organisation

It would be great to have a little more control of the design layer organisation, This could be done similar to how when using classes you can collapse groups using a dash (-) within the name. Or simply being able to group design layers, which would assist in quickly controlling visibilities, creating options etc. 

 

Seems like a simple change that would make a big difference in keeping files tidy and organised.

The story system already sets layer names up to work like classes with the dashes so all that is needed is to collapsible ui which from the classes list.

I think that using only a dash as a method to group layers is not comfortable. Drag and drop directly on layernames should be what they hopefully implement. Or have you been able to resort classes with drag and drop at any time?

To me having a legacy name or internal structure name that uses dash separation doesn’t stop also having a more active interface for classes, layers and sheets that allows drag & drop to dynamically rename the containers as needed to obtain the desired location. 
 

It keeps it backwards compatible.

and 3 interfaces get upgraded and become consistent in one move.
