Help with tapered wall components

You could achieve this with a symbol inserted in the Wall...

...but it would be quite a lot of work to do it throughout a large model + I'm not sure how big the benefit would be as presumably the only place you'd see it is in a couple of section viewports? With this being the case  it would probably be more practical to just draw it in the Annotation space.

(I just used a Wall that came to hand in my example)

Thanks Tom

The project is a small house , so I think I this symbol insertion in wall method should work, however I have never done and would like to learn.

Do you mind sharing the Vectorworks file of your example? that will be big help .

cheers

Here you go: Wall Cutter Symbol.vwx

The symbol is designed to be inserted in the midpoint of the Wall. Just double click in Top/Plan on the Midpoint.

The insertion point of the symbol aligns with the top of the Wall so whatever the Wall height, make this the height of the symbol as well.

The symbol is 1m long + designed to be scaled asymmetrically in the OIP. My Wall is 5m long so the X scale factor for the symbol is 5 so that it matches the Wall.

Hope that all makes sense.
