How can we extrude a 2D surface?

It seems relatively simple to me, but there's a left and a right.

According to one criterion it should be one or the other

Why a working script stops working after an envelope has been made.

when the script is run, extrusion is performed

but once the envelope is created, there is no longer any 3D visibility

Hello

here is a working script

If you use “int” instead of “real” for numbers it works without enveloppe. When you enveloppe obviously  it bugs for a reason I don’t know. I converted the int into real and it works.

I opened the file and did the test unfortunately it doesn't work either.

Because it doesn't generate 3d parts!

 

Can you check this by first deleting the objects created by the first code?
