layer / class visibility status in OIP

I think it does this now.

Open a blank doc.

Insert a door from the door tool

Select the Class Pulldown from the IO palette

You should see two Classes Dimensions and None. Next to each is a black diamond indicating the class is visible. If the class is invisible the diamond will be clear.

I apologize for being dense, but I'm missing something.

If you?re assigning a Class to an object via the OIP (Object Info Palette) the diamonds next to the name indicate the visibility setting.

If you e-mail me I'll send you a screen shot of what I'm referring to.

Also, if you're using VW 11 the new Layer and Class visibility dialogs may help. These new dialogs can allow you to see at a glance what classes and layers are visible.
