Gal
Hello everyone, Is it possible to create a Hybrid symbol with an input that affects both its 3d and 2d appearance? Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted September 30 Marionette Maven Share Posted September 30 Yes, by default anything Marionette draws in 2D would be your Top/Plan view representation, and anything 3D would be your 3D representation. For example, rectangles and circles will show in top/plan and spheres or rectangular extrudes would be 3D. You can feed them both the same dimensions to have them scale together. If you need to move something 2D to the 3D representation, Set Planar Ref is the node you would use, I believe. Quote Link to comment
Gal
Thanks Marissa! Can I also set side\front elevations? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Yes and No on other elevations. You can set a line drawing for those, but it will only be used in orthogonal Viewports rendered in Hidden Line Rendering. If the angle of a Section Viewport exactly matches the angle of the object then the corresponding elevation symbol will be used. This also applied to regular Left/Right/Front/Back orthogonal viewports 1 Quote Link to comment
