What is the solution for port, cable number and connector text running over each other?

There is no user setting I could find that allows for an offset on the source or destination for the cable numbers.

I tried editing the TP_label symbol but by the time the text gets moved away from the cable numbers it is too far from the port.

 

I though about spacing the ports vertically but doing that manually is a bit of work (although I could save and re-use it after it's complete) but is there a preference setting to set vertical spacing?

 

Any other way to deal with this that I am not thinking of?

Move your circuit numbers away fro the labels using the settings. Let me know if that does the trick.
