Benson Shaw
I have a model with several image texture surfaces. Export to Revit then test via reimport to vwx with the Textures and Materials option enabled. No textures. None of the classes survived the export/import process either. Any workflow tips to get the textures into the rtv file? -B Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Didn't know that Revit has a Material export option .... Have to try that ! I wish so much VW would export Materials by DWG Export at all .... (while it imports Materials from DWG perfectly ....) Quote Link to comment
zoomer
BTW, I tried to export a RVT from VW and bring it into Bricscad. No Materials at all here (not to talk about any kind of Textures of course) (and lots of geometry issues ...) 12 minutes ago, Benson Shaw said: Export to Revit then test via reimport to vwx with the Textures and Materials option enabled. Is that correct ? 16 minutes ago, Benson Shaw said: Export to Revit then test via reimport to vwx with the Textures and Materials option enabled. Which are even redundantly packed into an unnecessary REVIT Container. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
No, export to Revit seems to have only the options for project (rtv), family (rfa), or all (.). Import rtv to vwx has the options to include textures and materials, but that didn't work in my case. Does anyone have a way to force the texture export? -B Quote Link to comment
