Watermark when importing ressource

Hello,

 

When importing basic layher element I have a message saying my file will be watermarked (as studen edition ??????) . I also don't have access to the premium library anymore since update to VWX 2025.

 

What's happening ? 

 

(I tried to import a simple Scaffold Layher ZB Adjustable Base 40.

With VW2025 the Premium Libraries have been removed and all content is now available in the Vectorworks Libraries section of the Resource Manager. No more looking in two different sections to see what content is available.

Hi,

 

I had the same problem while working on an arenas tour project and it compromised everything. I was testing a 2025 full professional license and this happen while importing a transom 104 from layher allaround scaffholding.

 

Do you have any idea if and when this will be solved as for the entertainment industry the scaff library is essential?

This is scheduled for correction in Update 1. We are currently testing to make sure that the fix was correctly performed.

@James Narduzzo If you accidentally watermark your file because of this issue please contact technical support directly.
They will want to know which file you imported the resource from to confirm the problem and to make sure no others have gotten by our testing.

We have identified 4 files that have this issue. If you find any others please let us know.

No, untill 2025 update I had 2 main librairies, the "normal" one and the "Premium" one (with few but additional libraries).

I don't know if they got merged in 2025 edition but for now I don't have anymore the premium library in my folder tree.

This answer is only rhetoric, but it's not me who accidentally watermarked the file, it's you (vectorworks) who accidentally watermarked my files.

 

I have to do and work on 2-3 plans including Layher everyday in the next couple of days and so I think I more need the commercial support to discuss about the time lost to send everything to tech support.

@ErTech  I was not correcting your post: my post was directed at @JustinVH who had accidentally made an incorrect statement about access to Premium Libraries in his post. I believe he addressed your question about this above.

Yes, for VW2025 there is no longer a section for Premium Content. That section of the RM was the location for the new content that was released every two months for users who were on a Vectorworks Service Select plan. It was decided to remove that section to eliminate confusion on where to look for content because often the same manufacturer was on both locations and to allow for an easier process to release new content and bug fixes. All users who are working in VW2025 have access to the new content releases as well as the standard content and it is all in one place.

 

The watermark issue is scheduled to be fixed in Update 1 but will require a new download of the content when prompted after updating.
