Lost objects

Hi Guys. 

Silly question.

 I've lost two hedges and an existing tree. Wouldn't take long to redraw them but tis the principal. They have they're own classes and the hedges still show in the schedule.

I've opened all visibilities on layers and classes but still can find them.

They're still in one viewport even when I update said viewport. Does this mean I haven't accidentally deleted them?

 

How can I best find objects quickly?

go to the viewport that shows the objects, right click and edit design layer. can you still see the trees?
