Revit Export on Cloud

I am working on a project and I need to submit a 3D model to the Architects with the site model and all included. When I export my model as a Revit file and use the new cloud export with any of the revit versions it exports a blank file of 354 KB. This file at the moment is 160 MB. Exporting on my computer produces the correct results but I figured I'd post  this here because I was really looking forward to the cloud revit export option.

 

Any help is appreciated.

@Bryce Gauthier Like what the solution says above by @inikolova, save the file as a working file and export it from there. The Revit could seems to not like project files. 

 

This is no longer the case in Vectorworks version 2025 3.1. It seems that they have fixed the issue! But in the case it still doesn't work just do the solution above.

We are investigating. Please save a copy of your working file as a .vwx file and submit the Revit export job from there. I believe there is an issue with the cloud job when the source file is a .vwxw file.

I don’t have any insights, but just wanted to clarify that your VWX file is 160 GB…?
(1,000 MB = 1 GB) That seems very large.

We're having the exact same issue. Cloud export produces a blank file with the same file size you listed.

Do you have any answer to this question? I am having the same problem today. I was able to export to revit before, but today anything I try comes back as a empty 375kb revit file.
