ConnectCad Layer/Class Import

I have built a schematic in a project file that that i need to copy over into a new file. I have successfully imported the objects by doing a layer import but but my circuit scaling is off. my

circuit text is significantly larger in the imported version as well as the line scale. 

 

My guess was that this was a class attributes issue but the class attributes all match up. I even tried importing the class attributes first before I did the layer import. I checked for scaling issues and i don't see any. I also tried to add a text style to the connector class and i got my text to shring but this created a new problem where my connector labels no longer alligned correctly.

 

Has anyone run into this before? Any thought on a fix?

Hello @Seth Moak,

 

Check if the layer scale is the same and if the snap grid is the same? These could cause such scaling issues. If you can attach a sample file showing the issue - both the source layer and the result layer, we will be able to look into it too.

I had to delete the layer and re-import it after I changed my scale and snap grid settings! I was trying to change my settings after I had imported it and it would not rescale.

- Yes, once the ConnectCAD symbols are imported they get scaled to match the snap grid and will not change anymore if you change the snap grid.
