pmorberg
Hey there, I've got 2 black triangles and 2 lines showing up in the 2D view that I can't get rid of. The red markers are for the spiral staircase and the green ones are for the sliding door. The issue is only in the 2D view and not the 3D. Can you help me out with this? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Those look like arrowhead that have gotten set very large. Try marqueeing around the point and see if you can get them to select and then adjust or delete them and replace. Or post a file an we can take a look. 2 Quote Link to comment
line-weight
They will probably be arrowheads within the 2d components used for the sliding door & stairs. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I have no idea how or why, but you have corrupted objects. I don't know how to fix them. Two best options: 1. Send the file to VW Tech Support and see if they can figure out how to fix them. This could provide a solution if it happens again in the future. 2. Delete and recreate the three objects that seem to be having the problem. Since there only appear to be three objects (Hoist, Circular Stair, Sliding Door) that seem to have the problem, this could be a relatively quick fix. Other Options: Edit the 2D Component of the circular stair and locate and delete the Walk Line Group that has the borked arrowhead. You could then add it manually if you need it. Edit the 2D Component of the Hoist and set the font size to something really small like 0.1 point to get it to be what you need. Edit the Sliding door (like you already have) to turn off the direction indicator. You could add it manually if you need it. It is like font and arrowhead settings for those three objects are at a different scale. The arrowheads are set to be 2mm, but are showing as huge. But the font size in the file seems to be screwed up. It is showing as huge even though it is 12 point. But if you draw another piece of 12 point type just on the design layer it also shows up as huge. Feels like a corrupted file rather than a fixable problem. If you don't have too many layers and can't wait to hear back from Tech Support I would delete the "bad" objects and do a layer by layer copy/paste in place into a new blank file and see if that help. Good Luck. 🤞 Quote Link to comment
